　　十年前，帕波（泰勒·席林 Taylor Schilling 饰）大学毕业后结识了一名女毒贩艾丽克斯（劳拉·普莱潘 Laura Prepon 饰），与她成为恋人并随她环游世界，后来在她要求下参加了一次运毒行动。时过境迁，帕波离开了艾丽克斯，过上正常生活。一天，她和未婚夫（贾森·比格斯 Jason Biggs 饰）被警方告知，十年前那桩贩毒案被破获，帕波遭到逮捕。帕波主动来到女子监狱服刑，为期15个月。面对监狱的新环境，初来乍到的帕波感到不知所措，糟糕的是她还不小心得罪了厨房负责人红姨，遭到红姨的报复。不仅如此，她还在监狱里重遇了昔日女友艾丽克斯。　　在这座联邦女子监狱内，帕波遇到形形色色的女囚，第一次领略到“监狱文化”，她将要处理各种各样的问题。尽管认识了一群性格坦率的女囚犯，但她的牢狱生活绝不会一帆风顺……

　　青梅竹马的好友莎夏和马库斯闹翻了，并且 15 年都没说过话。莎夏成为了洛杉矶的名厨，回到家乡旧金山开了一家餐厅，就在这里，她遇到了老朋友 — 一位快乐、知足的音乐家，他一直与父母同住并为父亲打工。尽管两人都不情愿和好，但他们很快就发现彼此之间还存在旧的火花，或许还擦出了一些新火花。

　　两个女人，有着相似的经历，甚至是相似的心计，展开了为求成名的争夺战。　　维尔玛（凯瑟琳•泽塔-琼斯 Catherine Zeta-Jones饰）是一个夜总会舞女，名气不大。因为一怒之下枪杀了出轨丈夫而被关进大牢。比利（理查德•基尔Richard Gere饰）是当地一个靠打谋杀案官司而提升知名度的律师，他受理了这桩案件，心中有着自己的打算。他借助媒体炒作维尔玛的案子，一方面维尔玛瞬间成为红人，而他自己也声名大振。　　然而洛克茜（芮妮·齐薇格 Renée Zellweger 饰）的案件却让比利转移了注意力。梦想成为歌星的洛克茜也是因为怒杀男友而身负罪名，比利决定要把她包装成楚楚可怜的受害者，令媒体更疯狂的大肆报道。　　维尔玛觉察形势不妙，为了成名，她跟洛克茜之间的斗法不可避免的开始了。

　　设定在1990年，主角为加菲饰演的Jon，一个年轻、雄心勃勃的音乐剧作曲家。他在纽约一边当侍者，一边写一部叫《Superbia》的音乐剧，希望能平步青云，开启事业。但他从女友Susan那里感受到了压力，对方已经厌倦了任男友的职业前途牵制自己的人生；同时，Jon的室友Michael也放弃了创作梦想，做了一份高收入的广告业工作。快30岁的Jon非常焦虑：自己的梦想是否值得继续拼搏？

　　作家梅尔文（杰克·尼科尔森 饰）是一个脾气古怪的强迫症老头，没有家庭也没有朋友，整天关在屋里写他的第二十六部小说，生活如时钟般精准，受不了一点的打扰。　　梅尔文的邻居西蒙（格雷戈·金尼尔 饰）是年轻的同性恋画家，养了一条可爱的小狗，生性活泼，脾气温和，经常受到梅尔文的侮辱 。　　梅尔文每天只出门一次，到同一家餐厅吃饭，餐厅女招待卡罗尔•康奈莉（海伦·亨特 饰）是唯一愿意而且能够为他服务的人。离了婚的卡罗尔与儿子斯潘塞住在一起，斯潘塞患有严重的哮喘病，这使得许多对卡罗尔有意思的男子知难而退。　　一天，西蒙的住所遭到抢劫，西蒙身受重伤，住院前，将小狗托付给梅尔文照料，梅尔文渐渐喜欢上了这个小家伙，心理也发生了变化，开始关注周边的世界，主动帮助别人，认真审视自己对卡罗尔的好感……

　　布鲁诺仍在哀悼妻子的去世，他绝望地依恋着他们一起建造的海边小屋。当他被没有情感的姻亲驱逐时，布鲁诺发誓要不惜任何代价把它夺回。为了逃避父母亲神经质的关切，他制定了一个冒险的计划来恢复他的家。乔装成勤杂工改变了他的生活。

　　Sir Charles Baskerville dies at the entrance of his manor, and Doctor Mortimer says he died of natural causes. However, when telling Sherlock Holmes of the case, he feels Sir Charles' death was a result of a centuries old curse that runs in the Baskerville family, which Dr. Mortimer feels will strike at Sir Charles nephew, Sir Henry, who is arriving to claim the Baskerville estate. Holmes sends Dr. Watson in his place, along with Dr. Mortimer and Sir Henry, to the manor and for Watson to keep an eye out for any suspicious actions. Immediately after arriving, Watson notices the queer occurrences at the estate and surrounding moors, and sends Holmes reports of what is going on concerning the life of Sir Henry. Will Holmes arrive in time to unravel the mystery, and who is responsible for Sir Charles' death and the attempted murder of Sir Henry? Is it Dr. Mortimer, neighbor Stapleton, butler Barryman, harmless old Frankland, a mysterious wild man, or is there a curse on the Baskerville family? Very good opening entry in the Rathbone-Bruce Holmes series (even though this film lacks qualities of any ongoing entries.) The film could have been a bit more darker and foreboding (the film does have a movie studio set feel) and have an ending with a little more confrontation to it, but it does provide for much fun. The romantic scenes with Greene and Barrie have little spark, but there are very good red herring performances by the cast, which is a plus for this movie. Rating, 8.

　　Wealthy Rollo Treadway (Buster Keaton) suddenly decides to propose to his neighbor across the street, Betsy O'Brien (Kathryn McGuire), and sends his servant to book passage for a honeymoon sea cruise to Honolulu. When Betsy rejects his sudden offer however, he decides to go on the trip anyway, boarding without delay that night. Because the pier number is partially covered, he ends up on the wrong ship, the Navigator, which Betsy's rich father (Frederick Vroom) has just sold to a small country at war.　　Agents for the other small nation in the conflict decide to set the ship adrift that same night. When Betsy's father checks up on the ship, he is captured and tied up by the saboteurs. Betsy hears his cry for help and boards the ship to look for him, just before it is cut loose.　　The Navigator drifts out into the Pacific Ocean. The two unwitting passengers eventually find each other. At first, they have great difficulty looking after themselves, but adapt after a few weeks. At one point, they sight a navy ship and hoist a brightly-colored flag, not realizing it signals that the ship is under quarantine. As a result, the other vessel turns away.　　Finally, the ship grounds itself near an inhabited tropical island and springs a leak. While Rollo dons a deep sea diving suit and submerges to patch the hole, the black natives canoe out and take Betsy captive. When Rollo emerges from the ocean, the natives are scared off, enabling him to rescue Betsy and take her back to the ship. The natives return and try to board the ship. After a fierce struggle, Rollo and Betsy try to escape in a small dinghy. It starts to sink, and the natives swiftly overtake them in their canoes. Just when all seems lost, a navy submarine surfaces right underneath them and they are saved.
